A practical route order for Dweller, Climber, Fool, Loner, Madman and the final path, plus the exact compass sequence and hidden-object counts.

Do not reset your progress if you want all six endings. Three are available immediately: Dweller, Climber and Fool. Their history unlocks the remembering routes. The final puzzle answers are North → East → South → West, followed by 3 eyes, 7 eyes and 1 heart.

The most efficient route order

Get the three immediate endings in any order. Waiting produces Dweller; climbing while prioritizing yourself produces Climber; climbing while cooperating produces Fool. Any one of those endings unlocks “Hold on... this seems familiar.” before entering the Tower. Choose to remember and leave the Tower to get NULL. Once all four earlier endings are recorded, “REMEMBER.” opens 0000. You are progressing through memories, not solving the initial keypad.

Why STAY matters more than escaping

To continue past the Madman revelation, choose “REMEMBER.” and then “STAY.” In the desert, the new “Me.” response becomes available. Selecting “LEAVE.” or another escape option at that earlier point prevents “Me.” from appearing. At the vulture, choose a response other than “A vulture.” The developer describes this section as LETTING GO; a separate formal name for the sixth ending is not supplied.

Compass directions and three hidden-object challenges

The clue “Time only goes clockwise.” means starting at the top of a clock and moving clockwise: North, East, South, West. A correct input changes the desert background and starts a new monologue. Next, move your mouse around until clickable objects appear: three eyes, then seven eyes, both placed in heart shapes, and finally one heart. The sequence ends with a brief Tower animation. The black-wood cabin and book shortly before the closing quotation are an Easter egg tied to the broader 0808 series.

Resetting is the trap

The preferences option “Reset progress and quit” erases the very history needed for new choices; the creator explicitly warns against using it for ending collection. For players coming from the demo, the creator recommends pressing Start and skipping already-read text to the former demo endpoint instead of loading old saves directly. Desktop browsers are recommended, and delayed audio or pixelated images can simply mean assets are still loading.

Verification scope: Based on the developer’s March 8 walkthrough and the March 6 game page. The game and all branches were not played in this research run. Exact build number and search volume are unmeasured. English choice text is kept for accurate matching.

Primary sources

In short: keep your progress, collect 0/8080/-8080/NULL, use REMEMBER and STAY, then solve N–E–S–W and the 3/7/1 object searches.
