Aim for amber stars to multiply the entire drop, skull pegs to light nearby pegs, and green clocks or the bottom pail to replenish orbs. Eyes pay well but consume an orb each time you touch one. Weigh the points against the remaining supply.

Play and controls

Play PLINKDOWN by Mega Bite Games free in your browser. Published October 24, 2026 at 01:31 UTC and updated at 05:25 UTC, it combines a cursed 1994 TV-show setting with Peggle-style scoring. Meet the displayed score quota before your orbs run out to progress through a segment.

Mouse: aim and click to drop. Touch: drag to aim, release to drop. Controller: left stick to aim, A to drop. Each touched peg lights up and scores.

From your first drop to the next segment

  1. Read the quota and count your orbs. Running out before the threshold means failure.
  2. Look for an amber star. Its multiplier applies to the entire drop, so consider how many pegs the orb might hit afterward.
  3. Find skulls near clusters. Skulls explode and light surrounding pegs, potentially increasing one drop's reach.
  4. Watch green clocks and the pail. Clocks grant an extra orb; the pail at the bottom gives the falling orb back.
  5. Treat eyes as a trade. Each eye touched offers high points but costs one orb. Decide based on the score still needed.
  6. Shop between segments. Buy complementary orbs and charms rather than assuming one universally optimal build.

Special-object table

Object Developer-confirmed effect Useful decision
Amber star Multiplies that drop Look for later peg contacts
Skull Explodes, lights nearby pegs Seek dense clusters
Green clock Grants another orb Preserve your supply
Bottom pail Returns the orb Consider the landing area
Eye High points, loses an orb Compare reward and cost

Shop, modes and questions

The Commissary offers 30+ orbs and 75+ charms, with services to polish, copy, fuse or discard. Build families include bombs, chain lightning, gemstones, splitters, amber, money, pebbles and eyes. Many charms stack. Sponsor deals offer money with conditions; rare red-slot cursed items carry extra costs.

Story mode has 12 tapes, two endings and three difficulties: Matinee, Prime Time and 3 AM. Endless Broadcast and a Daily Tape with the same seed for everyone also exist. Exact triggers for either ending are not described in the public rules, so no guaranteed ending route is claimed.

Should I avoid every eye? Not necessarily; consider how many orbs remain. Can I reduce horror effects? Settings allow disabling jumpscares and flashing and enabling comfort mode. What's the best angle? No exact trajectory has been independently tested.

Bottom line and source

Multiply with stars, chain with skulls, recover with clocks and the pail, and budget carefully around eyes. The cursed host is scary; running out of ammunition is scarier.

Official game page, mechanics, controls and release details, checked October 25, 2026 JST. Full completion, ending triggers, optimal builds and social growth are unverified.
