The available Day 2 endings are Good 1, Good 2, Neutral and Bad. Build Affinity toward nine points, then choose how close Mould may stay for either Good ending. Build Fear toward nine for Bad, or keep both scores under nine for Neutral. Spoilers follow.

Why older guides say 8/7

The June 5 developer walkthrough used eight Affinity points for Good and seven Fear points for Bad. On August 3 the creator expanded the variables to make Neutral easier and published nine-point targets for both. The phrase “up to +9” does not disclose the code's exact comparison operator: nine is a practical target, not a reverse-engineered mathematical threshold.

A reported Neutral route and secret names

One player reached Neutral by leaving the item alone, checking the mirror, leaving the bathroom without looking back, screaming, saying good morning, carefully taking the keys, accepting the cardigan, calling someone at the market, returning home and bathing. This is a player report rather than a reproduced, developer-guaranteed sequence. Entering “Mould” or “Asher” in the name field also triggers special responses shown in developer screenshots; their full dialogue has not been transcribed.

Version and limits

The available download is HIWHI-2.0 with Days 1–2. Days 3–5 and further Mould/Asher endings are plans. The browser edition returned on July 12 after distribution changes, a language-switching bug was fixed in June, and the Day 2 update added a CG gallery. The score sheet was verified against official pages; this article does not claim hands-on completion of the four routes.

Bottom line: Earn Affinity and change the final distance choice for the two Good outcomes. Raise Fear for Bad, or balance both meters for Neutral. Follow August's nine-point guidance rather than June's older figures.
