Description: How to trigger three bad endings, unlock the three dimensional good routes, collect both mushrooms and assemble the Stabilizer. Includes the Watoto conversation that is easy to miss.
The broken pocket watch is the real boss of Ameverse: Dimensional Peril. There are seven endings: a bad and good outcome for each of three dimensions, plus a final route involving Home. The developer provides a route outline rather than every possible choice combination. Spoilers for all routes follow.
Ending route table
| Ending | What to do | Outcome / evidence status | Source URL | Version | Spoiler |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sketchy Downtown Bad | Wear down the watch; make the final jump into Sketchy Downtown, coming from another dimension | Dimension-specific bad ending; developer-confirmed rule | https://spinecricket.itch.io/ameverse-peril/devlog/1314349/walkthrough | v1.1 context | ⚠ |
| Desolate City Bad | Wait for the watch's last-shot warning; jump into Desolate City from elsewhere | Desolate bad ending; developer-confirmed rule | https://spinecricket.itch.io/ameverse-peril/devlog/1314349/walkthrough | v1.1 context | ⚠ |
| Bizarre Dimension Bad | Trigger the same warning, then use the last jump to reach Bizarre from a different world | Bizarre bad ending; developer-confirmed rule | https://spinecricket.itch.io/ameverse-peril/devlog/1314349/walkthrough | v1.1 context | ⚠ |
| Sketchy Downtown Good | Gather Stabilizer parts and Chat with Watoto at least once before choosing the Sketchy route | Watoto dialogue is explicitly required | https://spinecricket.itch.io/ameverse-peril/devlog/1314349/walkthrough | v1.1 context | ⚠ |
| Desolate City Good | Speak to Ame, exchange mushrooms, build the Stabilizer in Desolate City, then choose its route | Inferred from the official good-route sequence | https://spinecricket.itch.io/ameverse-peril/devlog/1314349/walkthrough | v1.1 context | ⚠ |
| Bizarre Dimension Good | Obtain Buffshroom, find Bubba for the final part, build the device and select Bizarre | Inferred from the official good-route sequence | https://spinecricket.itch.io/ameverse-peril/devlog/1314349/walkthrough | v1.1 context | ⚠ |
| Home / True route | Once the Stabilizer is built, select Home in the watch | Home is confirmed as a destination; precise True-ending mapping not replay-verified | https://spinecricket.itch.io/ameverse-peril/devlog/1314349/walkthrough | v1.1 context | ⚠ |
The efficient good-ending route
- Start in Sketchy Downtown, then jump to Desolate City. Exhaust the conversations and specifically Chat with Ame.
- Enter Bizarre Dimension, clear the dialogue, and collect Buffshroom.
- Return to Desolate City. Talk to Ame again to receive Apocalyptic Mushroom.
- Visit Sketchy Downtown and clear every remaining dialogue option. Do not skip Chat with Watoto.
- Search for Bubba in Bizarre Dimension to obtain the last Stabilizer component.
- Assemble the Stabilizer in Desolate City.
- Pick a destination using the watch. Bizarre, Desolate and Home are always listed; the Sketchy option depends on the Watoto conversation.
Why the wrong bad ending keeps appearing
Inspect the watch before each late-game jump. Its critical message reads: “The Watch is almost completely broken. This is my last shot to end it all or I'm doomed.” The last jump decides the dimensional bad ending. Your second-to-last jump must enter a different dimension from the one you want to finish in. The developer also notes that the watch shows an exact remaining-jump count once three or fewer jumps remain.
What changed in version 1.1?
The February 10, 2026 post-jam patch added a CG gallery and music room. Images and tracks appear there after being encountered during play. The browser build was updated to 1.1, while the jam-era 1.0 downloads remain available. The original walkthrough dates to January 12 and does not publish every internal flag or exact click path.
Bottom line
For bad endings, manage the final watch jump. For good endings, follow Ame → Buffshroom → Ame → Watoto → Bubba → Stabilizer. This guide separates the developer's explicit conditions from destination-to-ending mappings inferred from the route description; no independent seven-ending playthrough or search-volume measurement was performed.
