Description: Falsity, Cruelty and Lovity are fan-made variations on the smiling AI from the Minecraft horror series Verity. Here is what the colors suggest, where the character began and how the variants spread in 2026.

One floating yellow smiley face was already unsettling. Now there are blue, red and pink versions appearing together in TikTok edits and Minecraft videos. They're known as Verity Variants: fan-created versions of the character with their own color-coded personalities. They turn one creepy assistant into a particularly dysfunctional cast.

The yellow smile came first

Verity began in a Minecraft horror series by YouTuber ThatMob. The first episode was uploaded on May 30, 2026. The yellow face presents itself as a helpful AI companion, only to become intrusive and frightening as the story unfolds. Its smile stays simple while its behavior gets harder to trust.

In July, Horror Skunx released the music video “It's Me, It's Verity,” introducing the face to additional viewers. The song and its instantly recognizable character helped inspire fan edits, drawings and costumes. Then people started asking an even more useful question for meme-making: what if the smiley had siblings with worse personalities?

Meet the color-coded troublemakers

Falsity is blue and associated with lying or misleading people. Cruelty is red or dark and generally portrayed as aggressive. Lovity, in pink, leans into affection and romance. These personalities come from fans' creative interpretations; the variants are not simply a numbered set of official characters.

On June 17, 2026, creator xqree posted “The Verity Mod had a SEQUEL,” featuring Falsity. On August 8, TikTok creator @cubixtube shared a video involving a wall of rainbow-colored Verity faces. A September 16 post by @chalkalus presented Verity alongside Falsity, Cruelty and Lovity. Other creators turned the idea into animations, short videos and Minecraft modifications. These are documented examples of its spread, mainly across video and gaming communities, rather than proof of its popularity in every country.

Why the recolors work as a joke

A smile is supposed to mean reassurance, but Verity uses one to make horror more uncomfortable. The fan variants give that tension a menu of flavors. Blue might mislead you; red might chase you; pink might care a little too intensely. You can read the setup in a split second, even before the joke starts.

The original assistant was difficult enough to deal with. Fans apparently decided the obvious upgrade was a full customer-service department of suspicious smiley faces.
