Good, Bad and both Neutral endings explained: blood versus porridge poison, antidote, catalyst, Henri, and the four-point love requirement.

How (Not) To Kill A Vampire Lord has four endings. Your first two choices interact: poisoning blood or porridge does not by itself decide whether Mikael is poisoned. Whether Cyrus agrees to feed him determines which storyline opens, and later the antidote, catalyst, confession and stabbing choices decide the ending.

All four endings: exact routes and outcomes (spoilers)

| Ending | Required choices | Outcome | Evidence URL | Build | Spoilers |

|---|---|---|---|---|---|

| Good A | Unpoisoned combination → accompany Mikael → Shearing Woods → take his ring → encourage Henri (or reprimand Henri and help Mikael) → tell the truth. Stabbing is optional. | Unlocks: Good | Guide | Official 2026-02-15 / 1.0 | Yes |

| Good B | Poisoned combination → antidote potion → agree to clean Mikael’s ring → encourage Henri (or reprimand then help Mikael) → do not stab → tell the truth. | Unlocks: Good | Guide | Official 2026-02-15 / 1.0 | Yes |

| Neutral 2 | Follow either successful Good route, but lie rather than tell the truth at the end. | Unlocks: Neutral 2 | Guide | Official 2026-02-15 / 1.0 | Yes |

| Bad | Poisoned combination → give catalyst potion → stab Mikael. | Unlocks: Bad | Guide | Official 2026-02-15 / 1.0 | Yes |

| Neutral 1 | Poisoned combination → give catalyst potion → do not stab Mikael. | Unlocks: Neutral 1 | Guide | Official 2026-02-15 / 1.0 | Yes |

The opening poison-and-feeding truth table

Poison the blood goblet and agree to feed Mikael: he is not poisoned. Poison the blood but refuse to feed: he is poisoned. Poison the porridge and refuse to feed: no poisoning. Poison the porridge and agree to feed: poisoning occurs. The vessel alone tells you nothing until the feeding decision is made.

| Poison target | Feed Mikael? | Poisoned? |

|---|---|---|

| Blood goblet | Yes | No |

| Blood goblet | No | Yes |

| Porridge | No | No |

Why the Good ending also needs four love points

In the postmortem, the developer specifies at least four “love” points with Mikael for the Good ending. Certain other conditions, including being mean to Henri, can block it. The published walkthrough gives successful choice sequences but not the complete point-by-point scoring. If you reprimand Henri, take the accompanying Help Mikael option.

Efficient completion and route differences

Save once Mikael is poisoned. From there, antidote branches toward Good or Neutral 2, while catalyst branches toward Bad or Neutral 1. A separate unpoisoned day-out route can also reach Good. Reading the letter is optional on that first Good route. The developer explicitly states there is no way to actually kill Mikael in this game.

Build, platforms and verification

This guide uses the official February 15, 2026 walkthrough and postmortem. Downloads are labelled 1.0, and an HTML5 version exists. The developer recommends Windows or a desktop browser; mobile browsers may crash or refresh, so save often. No direct gameplay verification was performed for this article.

Conclusion

The opening two-choice combination controls poisoning. Antidote versus catalyst and truth versus lie or stab versus spare then split the routes. For Good, also meet the four-love-point requirement and avoid mishandling Henri.
