On September 29, another creator demonstrated Minecraft inside Elden Ring. On October 3, a Super Mario 64 and Elden Ring combination provided an even stranger meeting of worlds.
These projects use AI to assist with code and recreate behavior across game environments. That is different from asking an image generator to paint Mario on a battlefield. It also does not mean an entire commercial game has been recreated perfectly: the results are individual demonstrations with different scopes.
Why everyone wants to see the next one
Games usually tell you which worlds can meet. This trend treats that rule like a polite suggestion. If a survival game can acquire a skateboard, what is next, a boss fight interrupted by a building contest? The funniest part is that the mashup begins as a ridiculous question and sometimes ends with someone actually moving the character.
