Description: A practical guide to Room 9, nine-door streaks, intentional failures, the Computer Room finale and the browser demo.

The developer documents eight routes in the full game. Completing all of them unlocks a final true ending in The Computer Room. Correctly identifying anomalies is only the start: four routes require picking one door direction nine times, and two require getting every decision wrong. Each pattern changes depending on whether you carry the pillow.

Basic door rule

For a normal clear, choose left when an anomaly appears and right when the room is normal. Waking in the bedroom means you failed. The official page also tells players to collect the keys. Carrying the pillow into Room 9 and leaving it behind count separately.

Three browser-demo outcomes

The HTML5 browser build is a separate demo. Reach Room 9 once with the pillow and once without it. The developer says that clearing both outcomes unlocks the third one, The Demo Ending.

Secret clues and the counting caveat

The talking sun saying “ALL RIGHT” is a developer-confirmed anomaly and a clue for the right-only route. There is also a left-only route. The developer explicitly says that unlocking the garden is not required for the last two secrets.

Keep choosing the same direction even if you wake in the bedroom during a fixed-door streak. The official guide says nine choices; another developer comment calls the all-wrong challenge eight failures without reaching Room 2. Follow the nine-choice walkthrough and note the difference in counting.

Versions and verification limits

As of October 21, 2026, the full itch.io release is downloadable for Windows, macOS and Linux with filenames containing 1_0_0. The browser build is a demo. The August 8 update added anomalies and fixed collision, text and music issues. Steam lists October 28 as its planned release date.

The only individually described anomaly in the accessible developer comments is the sun saying “ALL RIGHT.” A complete anomaly list, spawn probabilities and exact key or pillow locations could not be confirmed. The browser frame was reached but not interactively played. Table route labels are descriptive rather than invented official ending names.

Conclusion

Clear Room 9 twice, complete four one-direction streaks, then intentionally fail twice. With the pillow states covered, all eight routes lead to the final Computer Room reward. Here, losing is part of winning.
