Developer-confirmed steps for both endings: reason-led choices, right-forward-right in the forest, and the IDs on Jude's nightstand.

Myosotis: My Life Is Not Yours to Take has two endings: Justice and Revenge. For Justice, lean toward reason rather than rage in the opening dialogue, take right → forward → right through the forest, and put the IDs on Jude's nightstand. The sequence comes from the creator's July 18, 2025 walkthrough.

Ending Requirement Action order Result Evidence URL Build / spoiler
Justice Most reason-led answers and all three forest directions correct Favor the listed early choices → Go right → Go forward → Go right → Place the IDs on Jude’s nightstand Justice ending 2025-07-18 itch.io v1.0.1 / ⚠
Revenge Insufficient Justice answers, wrong forest direction, or different ID placement Continue without completing every Justice condition Revenge ending 2025-07-18 itch.io v1.0.1 / ⚠

Opening choices and hidden points

The recommended early choices are Try to get answers, Obviously, You deserve to be, Maybe we’re soulmates, I want justice, and Walk in the forest. The developer says to pick the majority of these, not necessarily every one. The soulmate option matters less than the others. Text about reason tempering your rage is a useful sign that you're heading toward Justice. No exact hidden-score threshold was published.

Three forest directions and the final evidence

The forest is less forgiving than the opening dialogue. Select Go right → Go forward → Go right, all three in order. Then choose Place the IDs on Jude’s nightstand. The destination specifically names Jude, not Ethan. Choosing a different direction or a different location for the IDs leads toward Revenge according to the official guide.

Revenge and troubleshooting

Revenge is the second actual ending, not merely a failure screen. Insufficient Justice-oriented choices, an incorrect forest turn, or placing the IDs somewhere else can produce it. If you were aiming for Justice and reached Revenge, revisit the opening answers and all three forest directions before changing only the last choice. The creator does not list every alternate choice or its numerical value.

Build, platform and verification limits

The itch.io download is labeled v1.0.1, while the page's September 15, 2026 update date is separate from that file version. Steam launched March 30, 2026 and lists three achievements, without confirming their individual conditions here. Browser play is offered, although the team recommends the downloadable version; an April 1, 2025 fix addressed tooltip-hover crashes. This is a source-checked walkthrough, not a firsthand replay of both endings.

Sources and date

Conclusion

Justice: favor reason, go right–forward–right, and leave the IDs on Jude's nightstand. Break those requirements for Revenge. In a mystery about stolen identity, the final evidence placement really does matter.
