Malfoid isn't a secret Harry Potter character. It's a fan-made girl version of Draco Malfoy that inspired a wave of drawings on X in late September 2026. Different artists gave the familiar Hogwarts rival their own expressions and relationships.
Why does it work? Draco is already smug, argumentative and unable to leave Harry alone. Change the appearance and the old rivalry suddenly resembles a chaotic school romance. One documented September 27 drawing puts the female Draco in competition with Hermione for Harry; another, from September 28, shows her sulking. Harry has been cast in a romantic comedy without even auditioning.
Female Draco drawings existed as early as 2011. Know Your Meme records a September 22, 2026 post among the early examples of this new wave, not proof of the first creator. Those original X posts were not independently opened for this article. Another important detail: “foid” is a derogatory online term for women, not an innocent cute suffix. Enjoying the art doesn't require using the nickname.
New hairstyle, new genre, same Draco: still finding excuses to annoy Harry.
