A precise guide to Coward, Good Soup, Soup Friend, Bad Soup and No Soup, including Spinaché's score threshold, version 1.5 extras and the separate True End scene.

Drippy Date has five endings, not six. You can leave the restaurant after the appetizer for Coward, or stay until a final decision determined by Spinaché's hidden three-point approval score. The in-game scene labeled True End is a follow-up to the canon ending, not another collectible ending. Spoilers for every route follow.

All five endings: conditions and choices

Ending Requirement Action order Result Evidence URL Version / guide date Spoiler
Coward Leave after receiving the appetizer Choose to exit the restaurant at that point; no score threshold is required Early ending 1 v1.5 / 2026-03-10* ⚠
Good Soup Reach 2–3 approval points Choose at least two scoring actions, then select “Eat her” Good Soup 1 v1.5 / 2026-03-10* ⚠
Soup Friend :) Reach 2–3 approval points Choose at least two scoring actions, then select “Refuse” Soup Friend :) 1 v1.5 / 2026-03-10* ⚠
Bad Soup Finish with 0–1 point Use no more than one scoring action, then select “Attack her” Bad Soup 1 v1.5 / 2026-03-10* ⚠
No Soup Finish with 0–1 point Use no more than one scoring action, then select “Stay calm” No Soup 1 v1.5 / 2026-03-10* ⚠

How the three approval points work

There are exactly three documented ways to earn a point: “Keep the old menu” (+1), order soup (+1), and give a “Thumbs up” (+1). Porridge, garlic bread and ice cream do not qualify for the soup point. Keeping the menu and ordering soup already reaches two points, unlocking the Eat her/Refuse pair. With zero or one of these actions, the final pair becomes Attack her/Stay calm. Although the story frames the result around Foodie's reaction, the code-level split is based on how much Spinaché likes Foodie.

Does True End count as a sixth ending?

The developer distinguishes the five numbered endings from an extra cutscene titled “True End” in the game. That scene automatically follows the ending considered canon within the story, and players may skip it. The published guide does not identify which named ending triggers that scene. Treat claims that a particular one always unlocks it as unverified until the current executable is checked.

Gallery, twelve trophies and the chef's secret

Version 1.5 adds a gallery and twelve trophies. The game lists sixteen distinct CG illustrations, or forty images when expression and appetizer variations are counted. Both the gallery and trophies are accessed from the main menu, not the in-game pause menu. No official complete list of trophy names or individual unlock requirements was found. For a grimly funny bit of developer lore, Spinaché's hair is actually slime material she can dry, chop and use in dishes. That puts the suspicious ingredient in your soup into context.

Version 1.5, controls and evidence limits

The download page recommends the full 1.5 PC/Mac release while preserving the older game-jam 1.0 build. The original had two endings; the March 10, 2026 full release expanded that to five. On May 31, the developer described version 1.5 as mainly a new interface, custom pronouns, gallery and trophies, with only small script edits. For black-screen flickering, the official advice is Shift+G, change the renderer and restart; disabling power saving there is a further option.

Sources are the March 10 developer ending guide, May 31 feature update, official download page and linked lore posts. The downloadable game was not played during this review. Exact True End trigger identity, all twelve trophy conditions and reproducibility of all routes in v1.5 remain to be checked. Search volume has not been measured.

Bottom line

Collect Coward immediately after the appetizer. For the other four endings, save once with at least two approval points and once with at most one, then try both final responses in each branch. Look for the extra True End scene as a follow-up, and check collectibles from the main menu.
