description: October 19–20, 2026 reactions to a strange AI cat video on r/aislop: sliding entrances, helicopter jokes and the improbable idea of a respectful cat.

On October 19, 2026, “Weird TikTok video” appeared in r/aislop. Commenters talked about a cat-like character sliding into a room, apparently flying and reminding them of a helicopter. A response on October 20 offered the best objection: the least realistic detail was a cat calling a human “master.” Gravity is negotiable; feline pride is not.

What was verified

Publicly indexed comments from October 19–20 mention laughter at the sliding entrance, “They fly now?”, a helicopter GIF and memories of a spherical helicopter-cat clip. We could not play the underlying video directly. The original TikTok creator, exact dialogue and view count remain unverified. These are accounts of what commenters said, not a frame-by-frame viewing.

The reactions and why they work

First, a flying cat is fantasy, but one voluntarily recognizing a human boss is a character-writing error. Second, a pet clip becomes an aviation investigation: does the cat need landing clearance? Third, an r/aislop user actually wrote “This isnt slop. This is peak.” Others acknowledged that AI could still be funny, while some criticized continuity or argued the joke would work without AI. The boss and clearance comparisons are our editorial jokes.

Original comedy

ORIGINAL SKETCH — Tower: “Identify your aircraft.” Cat: “Domestic, flight mode.” Tower: “Follow your owner.” Cat: “That feature was removed.” Tower: “Where will you land?” Cat: “On the freshly folded laundry.” This is invented, not video dialogue or a real comment.

Conclusion

The viewers could accept impossible motion, but not a cat changing its opinion of humans. That contradiction is the real punchline.
