Description: Unlock We Finally Meet by finding any three of six clues. Locate the Deny quick-menu button, invisible options, the mother clue, and the two Failure #143 variants using the developer's guide.
In You're Digging In Me, meeting artist Miko Kasihra at a gallery becomes a psychological-horror encounter. The game lists three endings. The secret route is not simply a matter of being agreeable: discover three of six hidden clues. Some sit outside normal dialogue, including a quick-menu button and a blank-looking choice box.
The three outcomes (spoilers)
| Ending | Condition / action order | Outcome / certainty | Evidence URL | Build | Spoiler |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Good / Secret — We Finally Meet | Find at least three of the six published clues; a practical trio is Deny, the invisible choice and Her mother. | Unlocks the secret/good ending; the guide does not enumerate every valid trio. | Official guide | v1.0 (YDIM-1.0-win.zip) | ⚠ |
| Failure #143 — So Close, yet So Far | Miss the three-clue requirement; the official screenshots illustrate quieter or accommodating responses. | One failure variant. The screenshots are examples, not a complete Boolean rule. | Official guide | v1.0 (YDIM-1.0-win.zip) | ⚠ |
| Failure #143 — Disturb the Comfortable | Miss the three-clue requirement and follow the more defiant exchanges; later agreement opportunities matter. | The other failure variant; prolonged refusal can lead to death. | Official guide | v1.0 (YDIM-1.0-win.zip) | ⚠ |
Where the six hidden clues are
| Clue | What to do | Why it matters | Evidence URL | Build | Spoiler |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Quick menu | Use Deny in the bottom quick menu, not an ordinary dialogue option. | The developer circles the small control beside Prefs. | Official guide | v1.0 (YDIM-1.0-win.zip) | ⚠ |
| 2. Invisible choice | At the question about feeling unwell, inspect the empty-looking box beside Keep quiet. and “Fine.”. | The blank box is an actual choice area. | Official guide | v1.0 (YDIM-1.0-win.zip) | ⚠ |
| 3. Her mother | During the surreal association menu, select Her mother.. | Distinguish it from Your mother., A sand castle. and A chandelier. | Official guide | v1.0 (YDIM-1.0-win.zip) | ⚠ |
| 4. Ask, then agree | Choose You could’ve asked. in the relevant confrontation and keep agreeing afterward. | Published as Secret 4; the number of follow-up agreements is unspecified. | Official guide | v1.0 (YDIM-1.0-win.zip) | ⚠ |
| 5. Another ask-and-agree moment | At another listed opportunity, choose You could’ve asked. and continue agreeing. | Secret 5 repeats the developer’s wording; independent clue accounting is unverified. | Official guide | v1.0 (YDIM-1.0-win.zip) | ⚠ |
| 6. Lower-left hidden box | On the fate conversation screen, search the extreme bottom-left, outside the visible answer column. | The guide marks a tiny corner target beyond the two obvious fate responses. | Official guide | v1.0 (YDIM-1.0-win.zip) | ⚠ |

Why the two bad endings are confusing
The guide labels both failures as Failure #143 but gives them different subtitles: So Close, yet So Far and Disturb the Comfortable. Screenshots for the latter show defiant choices such as Don’t touch me!, Refuse., Release me! and You disgust me.. These illustrate the tone of the path; the developer does not publish a full branch formula. Once an ending is selected, some later choices change the dialogue rather than the ending.
An efficient collection order
On a first run, deliberately secure three visually identifiable clues: Deny, the invisible menu box and Her mother.. Save before major confrontations. After seeing We Finally Meet, replay without the hidden interactions and explore the two failure variants. The two ask-and-agree entries are useful alternatives, but the official post does not explain whether each always contributes a separate counter point.
Version, platform and verification
The official download is YDIM-1.0-win.zip (182 MB) and the developer currently lists Windows only, three endings, five CGs with variants and about 17,006 words. The official walkthrough is dated April 20, 2025. Two of its linked screenshots could not be fetched during this check, so the precise positions for clues 4–5 remain based on the developer’s text. This is a source-verified guide, not a claim of hands-on play.

Conclusion
The decisive threshold is three discovered clues, not three ordinary friendly answers. Check the quick menu and blank-looking hitboxes first: they are precisely the places a player can miss even after replaying every visible conversation.
