Description: Pixel 10 Pro, Pro XL and Pro Fold buyers can claim a Google AI Pro trial: 12 months in listed countries, six in Japan. Check the October 31 versus November 1 deadline discrepancy, eligibility exclusions, payment requirement and auto-renewal before redeeming.

The redemption window is closing, not everyone's free subscription. Eligible Pixel 10 Pro, Pro XL and Pro Fold owners in the US, UK and other listed markets get 12 months of Google AI Pro from redemption. Japan has a six-month version. Google's general help page lists October 31, 2026 as the deadline, while its separate international offer terms say November 1.[1][2][3]

Which Pixel actually gets AI Pro?

Device and market Included trial Duration Published redemption date
Pixel 10 Pro / XL / Pro Fold, listed markets such as US, UK, Canada Google AI Pro 12 months Oct 31 in Help; Nov 1 in international terms
Same Pro models, Japan Google AI Pro 6 months Oct 31
Standard Pixel 10, eligible markets Google One Premium, not the AI Pro offer 6 months Oct 31
Pixel 11 Pro family Separate AI Pro promotion 6 months Oct 31, 2027

This is a device-and-country offer, not a universal Google AI Pro free tier. Buying the regular Pixel 10 does not unlock the same AI Pro year. The country list includes the US, UK, Canada, India, Australia, Taiwan and a number of European markets. Other countries should not assume they qualify merely because Google AI Pro itself is sold there.[1]

Why do Google's dates disagree?

The current Pixel Help table says October 31. The dedicated 12-month terms, last updated August 20, 2025, say the offer must be redeemed by November 1, 2026. The Japanese six-month terms explicitly say October 31.[1][2][3] The applicable offer terms matter for your account, but a retailer's local cutoff or time zone may still affect redemption. Redeem before October 31 if possible, and keep the confirmation screen. A difference between two Google pages is not proof of a blanket extension.

Can existing Google One subscribers claim it?

Eligibility depends on the subscription. The offer requires an eligible purchased device, a Google Payments account and a valid payment method. Google's terms exclude people on a higher-tier plan, certain add-ons, family members who are not the plan manager, third-party-billed subscriptions and discounted Pixel bundles. One redemption per user applies; promotions cannot be stacked.[2][3]

If you redeem while another trial is active, the new trial replaces the old one immediately. It does not add six or twelve months to your remaining balance. The sign-up screen is where to verify how your particular existing subscription is treated.

How do I claim it, and will I be charged?

On the eligible phone, open Gemini and choose the offer banner, or check the upgrade option in your profile. In Google One, look under Settings → Check for offers. Confirm eligibility, start the trial and add a payment method. Check the exact free-end date under Google Play subscriptions.[1][2]

After the trial, the plan automatically renews at the standard monthly rate unless cancelled. Cancelling before the end prevents the first paid charge, and the terms say benefits remain active until the trial's scheduled end. Check the actual renewal price in your checkout screen; it can vary by country and current plan.

Bottom line

October 31 is a redemption deadline, not the day all 12-month trials disappear. Match the phone, market and billing account before claiming. The benefit starts when you redeem it; it does not sit in a drawer accumulating extra months with the phone box.
