Description: How far can Nobara Kugisaki's Resonance really go in Jujutsu Kaisen? Mahito and Sukuna show what the manga establishes. Muzan's blood and Voldemort's Horcruxes make two outrageous crossover tests.

Spoilers: Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 267, later Demon Slayer events, and the Harry Potter ending.

The answer: Nobara is terrifying as a protected support fighter when allies provide material linked to the enemy and she strikes at exactly the wrong moment for the villain. But planet-wide range, unlimited repeated hits, and links across unrelated fictional universes are speculative.

Please don't send Nobara. Send the enemy's finger.

Resonance uses a straw doll, nails and material connected to a target to send an attack to someone who isn't standing in front of her. A conventional fighter has to reach the enemy. Nobara can potentially wait until an opponent starts a finishing move, then ruin that moment with one hammer blow.

Take it to an absurd extreme: she moves to the opposite side of the planet, her teammates send battle updates, and she taps the doll from her living room. Remote work for a sorcerer. The catch is that the manga has not established global range or limitless rapid-fire use. Those are conditions of the joke, not confirmed abilities.

Mahito and Sukuna already demonstrate the scary part

In Shibuya, Nobara attacked Mahito's double using Resonance. The effect reached the soul linked to his original body. A duplicate meant to help him fight became a way to attack the main body. Mahito accidentally introduced a vulnerability into his own defense.

Chapter 267 makes the tactical value clearer. Nobara targeted Sukuna through his remaining finger, which allies had kept elsewhere. A binding vow prioritized transmitting her technique through the indestructible cursed object rather than breaking it. Sukuna was interrupted, giving Yuji Itadori the opening he needed. She didn't have to overpower the strongest opponent; she only had to steal one second.

Demon Slayer: is one captured low-level demon enough to bother Muzan?

Muzan Kibutsuji creates demons by giving them his blood. If Muzan's cells inside a lesser demon count as a valid link, the Demon Slayer Corps could capture one, secure a sample, and ask Nobara to strike the moment a Nichirin blade approaches Muzan.

That's a big if. Mahito's duplicate is not the same as an independent demon created by Muzan. We don't know whether that blood would provide a usable connection or enough force. An actual fragment of Muzan's own body would be closer to a demonstrated Resonance setup. Muzan calls his minions expendable; Nobara tells the squad, “Keep that one alive. I need the sample.”

Harry Potter: can you hammer a Horcrux and make Voldemort scream?

A Horcrux holds a fragment that Voldemort separated from his soul. His diary, locket and snake Nagini held fragments; Harry unknowingly carried one, too. Suddenly a technique capable of affecting the soul sounds like a nightmare for the Dark Lord.

But a separated Horcrux fragment is not Mahito's connected, active double. In the books, destroying a Horcrux does not automatically produce a simultaneous blow to Voldemort's main body. To make Resonance travel that route, we'd have to invent a crossover rule.

As for the joke about using Harry as the target instead: that could hurt Harry himself. The condition Nobara used to preserve Sukuna's finger does not prove that a living person in another universe can be protected the same way.

The real superpower is bad timing

Resonance still needs a meaningful link, suitable material, power and usable range. If a team handles those requirements, Nobara can ruin a villain's concentration exactly when another hero attacks. Imagine Voldemort raising his wand to cast the Killing Curse. Somewhere far away: tap. His day is ruined.

The funniest balancing mechanism may be Nobara herself. She has an ability made for protected support, yet insists on charging right into the fight.
