Spot changes in the ads, lights, passengers or route map, look at the anomaly and hold F to FLAG it. Keep your reaction subtle: staring or turning abruptly around your parents raises suspicion. At every stop, decide whether to remain aboard or leave, but never trust the station sign or announcement on its own.

Play and objective

Play Last Local in your browser. You ride a late New York G train with Mom and Dad for 13 stops across three chapters. There are eight endings. Nightmare mode and chapter selection unlock after completing a ride. This is an anomaly-spotting horror game with a second pressure point: concealing your awareness from your parents.

A practical route through a ride

  1. Establish the normal scene first. Scan the advertisements, lighting, riders and route diagram. A baseline makes later changes easier to notice.
  2. Flag a specific change. Face it and hold F; flags themselves are private. Do not confuse noticing an oddity with having registered it.
  3. Keep your parents calm. Prolonged staring, sudden head turns and reacting to shadows can raise suspicion. When addressed, use the 1–3 choices to respond calmly; no universal correct response number has been verified.
  4. Use evidence tools deliberately. The instant camera has eight shots. The EVP recorder and evidence view have their own controls. Both gathering evidence and revealing that you are doing so can create problems.
  5. Evaluate each stop before stepping off. Signs, announcements and even your parents can mislead you. The creator mentions one reliable signal, but does not identify it in the published description. Treat claims about an exact exit stop or signal as unverified.
  6. Near the end, consider staying still. The creator hints that, during the rainy stretch above Newtown Creek, not moving can be the brave choice. Hold Space if the game explicitly requests HOLD. The precise ending trigger remains unknown.

When something goes wrong

Problem Check
A change is visible but unregistered Aim at it and hold F
Suspicion increases Reduce conspicuous looking and evidence use
You cannot tell which stop is real Do not rely solely on the displayed station or PA
Sanity keeps declining Its downward trend is built into the ride; good play affects position within each stop's band
You want a different ending Compare your choices against the travel report and Case Files on a later ride

Endings and evidence

Are there eight endings? Yes, according to the developer; the individual triggers have not been verified. Must you exit at every stop? No: every stop presents a stay/leave decision, and most apparent destinations are deceptive. How much film? Eight shots. Can you prevent all sanity loss? The overall descent is fixed. Can you play on mobile? Yes, with touch controls.
