Description: The Little Mix dance lesson, the Traitors' bizarre yawning challenge and the BBC's spoof Glory Days record explained, with dates and sources.

“Big Mix: Gory Days” is a novelty record, not a real new album. On BBC's The Celebrity Traitors, singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock taught comedian Miranda Hart the choreography to Little Mix's “Touch”. Miranda jokingly named their pairing “Big Mix”; the BBC subsequently made the gag into a framed record.

Two rooms, two very different activities

Series two, episode six aired on BBC One at 8pm UK time on Friday, October 16, 2026. The competition has secret Traitors and Faithfuls; “murder” means elimination within the game. After Joe Lycett was banished, Leigh-Anne tried to cheer up an upset Miranda with a dance lesson. Miranda threw herself into the moves and introduced herself as the larger counterpart to Little Mix.

In another room, Maya Jama, James Acaster and King Kenny were attempting a peculiar murder in plain sight. Using a special perfume-bottle prop, they tried to bore a Faithful into yawning. Ross Kemp and Jerry Hall entered the danger room. The episode ended before the result was revealed.

Why the scene was funny

The edit repeatedly cut between these rooms. One group treated a yawn as a deadly weapon; the other was having an enthusiastic pop-dance lesson. The contrast turned a comforting moment into the comic counterpoint to the show's tense strategy game.

Leigh-Anne later joked that dancing had saved her life. She was referring to the coincidence of staying away from the trap, not confirming that either dancer had been selected as a victim. Genuine UK viewer reactions are documented, but comparable popularity in every country has not been established.

Three jokes on the sleeve

Little Mix released Glory Days in 2016. The BBC changed the title to Gory Days, replacing a word about triumph with one suggesting blood and violence, a nod to the show's fictional murders. “Big Mix” reverses “Little Mix”, while the plaque's “killer debut performance” adds another double meaning.

On October 18, Leigh-Anne posted an Instagram unboxing of the BBC's framed gift. The artwork featured the two women, a peacock referencing the Scottish castle and a mock tour poster. Former Little Mix members Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards responded with laughing emojis; fellow contestant Sebastian Croft asked whether he could buy one. Neither the album nor the tour is an actual release announcement.

The answer

“Big Mix: Gory Days” commemorates a spontaneous dance lesson that happened beside a plot to eliminate somebody by making them yawn. As of October 21, the cliffhanger's outcome awaited the next episode. While the Traitors planned their next move, the accidental duo already had a debut record.
