The free browser horror game has three endings in v1.1. Here's the developer-confirmed clue for the secret finale.

Bellweather: 3:17 now has three endings. Version 1.1 adds the secret ending Five Went In, unlocked by finding all three hidden memories, according to its creator.

What is the objective?

You enter Bellweather House with your younger sister Evelyn during a storm. Find three of her belongings while searching the house by flashlight. There are three bedrooms, yet a fourth door appears in the hallway.

Secret-ending clue

Evelyn's three belongings and the three hidden memories are different objectives. Do not assume collecting her items completes the secret-ending requirement. The precise memory locations and door-choice sequence have not been independently play-tested for this guide.

Controls and content warning

Move with WASD or arrow keys, look with the mouse, interact with E or click, and sprint with Shift. Touch controls are supported. Expect jump scares and flashing lights.

Should you open the fourth door?

The door is central to the mystery, but the developer does not present simply opening it as the secret-ending requirement. Focus on all three memories. The real twist: you went in looking for your sister and ended up searching for memories that might not even be yours.
