人間は常に、すべてを完全に描写してから動くわけではない。意味、条件、優先順位を先に作り、その場に必要な現実を生成する。
問題は、その生成方式が環境へ合っているかである。夢では厳密に監督しすぎると世界が崩れる。組織では創業者が監督しすぎると現場が止まる。コメント文化では統制しすぎると集合的な笑いが消える。買い物では最初の予定へ固執しすぎると、より良い選択を逃す。
必要なのは、完全な支配ではなく、どこを固定し、どこを自動生成へ任せるかを選ぶことである。
