Description: Why do VIVANT clips show secret agents saluting to Hamtaro or Detective Conan? The real episode 21 scene, fan-made music swaps, and the false impression of a hacker's betrayal explained.

A genius hacker is ordered to play a secret unit's ceremonial music. Yet videos online show the agents saluting to children's animation themes. Did the mission collapse? No. Blue Walker does not play the wrong song in VIVANT. These are fan-edited videos with a different soundtrack.

Mild spoilers follow for one scene from episode 21, aired in Japan on October 18, 2026.

What happens in the actual scene?

F, another personality of protagonist Nogi, instructs hacker Rihō Ōta, known as Blue Walker, to play Beppan's ceremonial music. It sounds on the departing aircraft and is also sent to the rival Shinshi organization's base. Members of the secret unit salute and hold back tears, thinking of fallen colleagues. It is an emotional, solemn sequence.

“Hacker,” “secret unit” and “broadcasting audio to the enemy” may sound like a disastrous security incident when separated from the story. In the actual episode, however, the instruction works.

Why are Hamtaro, Conan and Chiikawa playing?

Online creators preserve the saluting footage and replace only the song. Shared variations include the Hamtaro theme, music from Detective Conan and a Pajama Parties track associated with Chiikawa. These are examples of fan parodies, not official alternate endings.

Nothing about the agents' performances changes. They remain utterly serious, which makes the incongruous music much funnier.

What makes this meme work?

It is the collision of solemn faces and ridiculous audio. A tribute to the dead suddenly looks like an opening ceremony for a cartoon.

There is another layer: the fictional person who “presses the wrong button” is an exceptionally capable hacker. In the parody universe, someone trusted with confidential communications is defeated by a playlist. National security apparently depends on double-checking the play queue.

On October 22, 2026, Nikkan Sports reported that an edit using a song by Ayaman Japan attracted attention and helped inspire more versions. Views for an individual upload should not be mistaken for a total audience count.

Why does it sound like betrayal?

VIVANT thrives on hidden identities and uncertain loyalties. Without having seen the show, the caption “Blue Walker accidentally played...” can easily sound like a dramatic plot twist. The important distinction is who changed the music: a video editor, not the character.

Bottom line: In the series, Beppan salutes sincerely to the proper music. On social media, the hacker suffers an endless series of imaginary audio disasters. Elite espionage, defeated by Shuffle Play.
