Get both endings in rotten angel, use the hotel choice to force Evan's route, and fix the stuck pronoun screen in the browser. Includes version and CG caveats.

rotten angel has two endings, Enjel and Evan. The branching choices are framed as memories rather than a conventional choose-your-date menu. To reach Enjel, avoid the first response saying you never discussed the issue, recall being happy and genuinely loving Evan in the second prompt, then remember telling Evan that Enjel's approaches made you uncomfortable. To reach Evan directly, choose the third-prompt memory of Evan seeing you leave a hotel with Enjel; the developer says this overrides your earlier responses.

Why the branch is easy to miss

The hotel memory is a shortcut to Evan, not an alternative Enjel condition. Enjel needs the whole three-choice combination. If you keep landing on Evan, replay from the first memory rather than only changing the last answer. The official guide also says other combinations that miss Enjel's pattern lead to Evan, but does not publish a numerical affection system.

Browser pronoun screen workaround

If the browser stops at pronoun selection after entering a name, use the arrow keys to highlight an option and press Enter. The creator posted this workaround on the game page and repeated it in a reply. The game offers HTML5, Windows, macOS and Linux; current download names show v1.3.

CGs, languages and extras

The developer advertises roughly 8,000 words, two endings, three CGs and 10–40 minutes to see both endings. Players also describe a title screen that changes after an ending. The published guide does not give an individual unlock map for all three illustrations. French and Brazilian Portuguese localizations were announced in 2026.

Version and verification scope

Evidence: creator's October 1, 2024 guide and the game page checked October 20, 2026. The guide's exact choices were not replay-tested against the v1.3 executable. In-game screens, individual CG triggers and third-party credit links were not exhaustively inspected; search volume was not measured. Expect blood, violence, confinement and disturbing family obsession.

Conclusion

Build Enjel's three-memory sequence deliberately; for Evan, the hotel memory is the decisive override. Three questions are enough to change which brother survives the story's revelations.
