Short answer

As checked on October 18, 2026, the new Pika Free tier lists 0 credits per month, packs only. Signing up costs nothing, but there is no recurring free allowance for video, image or audio generation.[1]

Plan Monthly / annual equivalent Monthly credits Commercial use
Free $0 0 —
Starter $10 / $8 900 —
Creator $35 / $28 3,150 ✓
Fancy $95+ / $76+ 8,550+ ✓

Annual equivalents require annual payment; taxes vary by location. Current exports are watermark-free on every tier, but commercial licensing starts with Creator.[1][2]

Why do older pages promise 80 or 150?

An older Basic pricing view displayed 80 monthly credits, while the official FAQ for the legacy product still says 150. These conflicting historical figures do not establish a verified 80→150→0 sequence. Pika announced its unified video, image and audio platform on September 17, 2026, retaining the previous interface at old.pika.art. For the new service, the current pika.art pricing page takes precedence. The exact date when the zero-credit policy took effect was not established by that announcement.[3][4][6]

All models does not mean free renders

Free includes access to all models, but generations still cost credits. The official examples show a five-second 720p Seedance 2.5 video at 122 credits, Wan 3.0 at 33, and a 1K GPT Image 2.5 image at 2. Costs depend on model and settings. The two parallel video jobs on Free describe concurrency, not two free renders.[1]

Packs, expiry and separate products

Without subscribing, Free users can buy 1,500 credits for $25, 3,000 for $50 or 6,000 for $100. A 1,500-credit pack mathematically covers twelve 122-credit jobs or forty-five 33-credit jobs before retries. Purchased credits expire 365 days after purchase. Monthly subscription credits renew each billing period and unused plan credits do not roll over. New-site top-ups work with Pika Create and Pika MCP, not the API, iOS app or old.pika.art.[1][2][5]

Legacy plans and commercial rights

The September launch promised existing users the same login, subscription and price during transition. It did not guarantee that all legacy balances would work across products. The new price chart shows no watermark for every tier, but commercial licensing starts with Creator. Cancelled paid plans remain usable until the paid period ends. No universal reset hour is published.[1][2][4]

Bottom line

A free account is not a recurring free-generation allowance. Consider a pack for occasional work, Starter for a monthly budget and Creator or higher for commercial projects. Confirm the exact Pika product before paying.
