Description: The crude two-word joke confused X users in October 2026. Find out why it spread, how people use it, and what is known about its origin.

“Uncle Pussy” is deliberately ridiculous, vulgar internet slang. Combining a family term with sexual slang makes it sound like it ought to mean something. It doesn't have an established definition. The baffled “what is that?” reaction is the joke.

Where did it come from?

An October 5, 2026 post claimed the phrase began as a parody of “boyfriend dick,” another mash-up of relationship vocabulary and sexual slang. That's one account of its origin, not a verified first use. Know Your Meme documents an earlier example dated May 11.

By October, asking for a definition was a meme in itself. An October 4 post asking what the words meant drew over 1.3 million views in about eight days, according to Know Your Meme. The following day, another user joked that stepping away from X for a few hours meant missing a whole new obsession. These are snapshots of particular posts, not a worldwide popularity survey.

How do you use the joke?

Say the expression as though everyone knows what it means, especially in a sentence where it has no business appearing. Somebody asks for an explanation, and their reaction gives the next poster fresh material. On October 6, the phrase was even shoehorned into a joke about family nicknames.

This meme spreads through the people trying to decode it. The dictionary is still working on the question; the timeline has already forwarded it.

Source: Know Your Meme, “Uncle Pussy,” added October 12, 2026. The origin remains an attributed theory.
