On October 23, 2026, a post titled “Holy jojo reference” appeared on r/ShitPostCrusaders. One commenter said they nearly choked on their water. Another replied, “Iced teas. 4 of em.” A routine café order had become a dramatic internet catchphrase again.

Where did four iced teas come from?

In JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, episode 34, “D'Arby the Gambler, Part 1,” the heroes visit the Nine Pyramids Lounge near Giza to ask about DIO's mansion. The café requires customers to order before asking questions. So they order four iced teas. The manga counterpart is chapter 211. Characters who face supernatural opponents with deadly seriousness apply the same attitude to ordering drinks. They still fail to get an easy answer and soon face D'Arby. The beverages, at least, are properly ordered.

What happened online in October 2026?

Music edits and Roblox- and Minecraft-style recreations gave the old line a new audience. Explainers dated October 21 and 23 followed. In the October 23 Reddit discussion, a real comment describes nearly choking on water and another repeats the iced-tea order. The post's image details were not directly inspected here. The comments themselves make the second joke: a meme about iced tea nearly defeats someone drinking plain water. A separate April 2021 fan discussion already included the restaurant-switching gag “Sirs, this is a Wendy's.” That is an old comment, not a new 2026 reaction.

Original sketch: the endless order (fiction)

Server: “Your order?” Guest: “Four iced teas.” Server: “Your name?” Guest: “Order a drink before asking questions.” Server: “But I work here.” Guest: “Rules are rules.” Server: “Then one tea for me.” Guest: “Now we need five.” Server: “When do you ask about the mansion?” Guest: “After the sixth glass.”

Conclusion

The line is from a 2015 anime, not a new 2026 invention. The joke is the gulf between epic delivery and an ordinary purchase. The heroes managed to order tea; a viewer nearly lost to water.
