Description: The September 2026 fan animations, mthu's song, October human recreations, calculator remix and real fan replies.
The “I'm So In Love With You” Jiren dance is a fan-made Dragon Ball animation set to a melancholy love song, not a romantic scene from the show. The pairing appeared on TikTok in September 2026. In October, people imitated the steps and one edit put the dance on a calculator screen.
Why does it work?
Jiren is a fearsomely strong, stern-faced fighter in Dragon Ball Super. A heartbreak song is the last soundtrack viewers expect. The track is actually called “it's like i'm not even here,” by mthu; its memorable “I'm so in love with you” phrase became the meme's shorthand.
Three separate beginnings
Apple Music lists editions of the song dated April 10 and 13, 2026. Animator @dblgiuzman uploaded Jiren dancing with Goku on September 1 and another Jiren dance on September 2. Know Your Meme identifies @skobodo_tolot's September 17 post as an early documented edit combining the visuals and song. The song release, animation and pairing are distinct events.
How did a calculator get involved?
Know Your Meme's October 26 account puts the September 17 edit at about 719,000 views. A human imitation posted October 20 by @adamlostagain reached about 1.6 million in six days. On October 24, @notmemetime made Jiren dance on a calculator, reaching around 2.1 million views in two days. These are individual snapshots, not worldwide totals. The encyclopedia entry was still under review.
A genuine October 22 r/DragonballLegends discussion about a possible new Jiren game unit was overtaken by the association: commenters said the tune was stuck in their heads and wondered why Jiren wasn't dancing. They came to discuss combat stats and ended up checking his choreography.
How to use it—and the punchline
Pair the dance with another character, imitate it yourself or display it somewhere unlikely. The humor is the mismatch, not bothering strangers while filming. Jiren can fight powerful enemies, but apparently not this chorus. A calculator can solve equations; unresolved heartbreak is outside its functions.
