Checked October 13, 2026; no story spoilers. There is no confirmed cancellation of the Predator collaboration. Epic Games' official October 1 Fortnitemares announcement specifically lists Predator: Badlands outfits and accessories among items coming throughout October. It does not give an exact shop date for them.

So why the panic? The Halloween key art is already crowded with Freddy Krueger, Five Nights at Freddy's characters and other horror guests. Some players looked for the galaxy's most recognizable hunter and came up empty. In a Reddit discussion, a fan asked what happened to Predator after reading three marks on a tree in a teaser as a clue. Others wondered whether every promised guest had to appear in the artwork.

That concern is real, but a crucial detail gets lost: Epic has not confirmed in this announcement that the teaser marks belonged to Predator. That is a fan interpretation. The written lineup, by contrast, actually names Predator: Badlands. A poster is a promotional composition, not necessarily a full inventory of future shop items.

There is another potential mix-up. The official wording points to Badlands-related items, not a guaranteed return of the older classic Predator outfit. “Throughout October” also cannot tell us the price, bundle contents, or individual release day.

The practical answer: being absent from the group photo doesn't mean the hunter was removed from the event. Badlands is still on Epic's October list. Exactly when those items land in the shop is the part that remains unknown. Apparently even promotional art is no match for a skilled camouflage expert.
