title: “Alors on danse” parrot AI meme explained: Jamel and Stromae's 2010 sketch description: One tiny keyboard, a serious musician and a wildly excited partner. Trace the 2026 parrot videos to a 2010 French-language comedy sketch, with dated TikTok examples.

The white-studio clip of two people—or two parrots—“making” the hit “Alors on danse” is a 2026 AI recasting of a 2010 comedy sketch. The original stars Belgian musician Stromae and French comedian Jamel Debbouze. It is not genuine behind-the-scenes footage showing how Stromae wrote the song.

What is the joke?

One performer taps a miniature keyboard beside a laptop. The other points, claps and dances as though a few notes have already sold out an arena. New AI versions cast parrots, couples and other characters in the same two roles. The equipment is tiny; the celebration is enormous. That mismatch is the punchline.

The real source: Made in Jamel

Stromae's official “Alors on danse” video appeared in 2009. His appearance in Jamel's 2010 comedy DVD Made in Jamel was a scripted scene: Jamel pretends to teach the singer how to make a hit. French reporting on November 29, 2010 described it as a sketch. Claims that Jamel secretly composed the track confuse the story with reality. Jamel TV uploaded the old sketch to YouTube in November 2025, so the original can be compared with the new remakes.

Which posts spread in 2026?

On June 1, @tsukyofficiel reposted the sketch to TikTok. A third-party snapshot dated October 10 reported approximately 10.1 million plays. AI cast swaps appeared around late September. On October 3, @kennyslowbird posted two parrots in the studio; the same snapshot recorded about 832,000 plays. On October 5, Italian comedy duo Marta e Gianluca remade it with their own faces, at about 103,000 plays. These are dated third-party observations, not live TikTok counters independently checked here. Direct playback was restricted, so the first AI creator and worldwide total remain unverified.

Why can almost anyone play the parts?

The scene needs only a worker and an overenthusiastic hype partner. Replace both with birds and one can press a few keys while the other reacts like an award-winning producer. The humour comes from the contrast, not from a claim that parrots really composed a record. This is an analysis of the scene, not an invented viewer comment.

How to recognize and remake it

The 2010 footage is an acted sketch featuring Jamel and Stromae. Pet and face-swapped versions are later AI edits. Check upload dates, captions and AI labels. For an original variation, use two authorized photos, assign the keyboard and hype roles clearly, and select music you have rights to use or an official in-app sound. The French source, Belgian artist and Italian remake are documented; equal popularity across countries is not.

Conclusion

The “Alors on danse” parrot meme is an old joke with a new AI cast, not a revelation about songwriting credits. Three keys pressed, and the partner is already planning the world tour.
