Description: Abandonware has three endings—Guilt, Obsession and Goodbye. Complete them to reveal a Kiki journal entry on the login screen with your personal kiki.zip key. Here is what the developer actually confirms.
To unlock kiki.zip, finish all three endings, return to the login screen and open the Journal entry called Kiki. That entry contains your unique key. Tori’s separate password puzzle has three official clues: no spaces, 13 characters and Tori’s last note.
Ending routes and unlock checklist
| Condition | Action / sequence | Result / confidence | Source URL | Version / checked | Spoiler |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Guilt | Try replies that challenge Tori’s identity and the narrator’s missing memories. Exact choices are not listed by the developer. | Official directional clue for Guilt | 91nuggets | 2026-10-09 / 2026-10-17 | Major |
| Obsession | Explore responses that cling intensely to Tori; the developer’s hint is openly affectionate. | Directional clue for Obsession, not a tested click sequence | 91nuggets | 2026-10-09 / 2026-10-17 | Major |
| Goodbye | Follow the thread of catching up with an old friend and accepting both good and painful memories. | Goodbye; the creator calls it the true ending | 91nuggets | 2026-10-09 / 2026-10-17 | Major |
| Replay another route | After an ending, log off and choose Advanced → reset MirrorOS. | Developer-confirmed way to restart for another route | 91nuggets | 2026-10-09 / 2026-10-17 | Moderate |
| Tori’s password | Revisit the last note; look for a 13-character answer with no spaces. | Three official hints, not a disclosed password | 91nuggets | 2026-10-09 / 2026-10-17 | Moderate |
| kiki.zip key | Finish all three endings; at the login screen open Journal → Kiki. | A personal key appears in the bonus journal entry | 91nuggets | 2026-10-09 / 2026-10-17 | Major |
Three different passwords, one very retro desktop
When MirrorOS starts, you create a username and password for your own login. Keep those credentials distinct from Tori’s puzzle password and the personal key for kiki.zip. Confusing the three is an easy way to make a 30-minute visual novel feel like a password-recovery job. Left-click or press Space to advance text; text-speed controls and fullscreen play are supported.
Finished every ending but Kiki is missing?
Look in the Journal on the login screen, not just in the messenger conversation. The developer explicitly said that a new Kiki entry appears after all three endings and contains your key. One Windows-download player reported that the entry remained missing despite completing the endings; the creator asked about the platform, restarting and inspecting the save. Treat that as a reported issue rather than proof of a universal bug. Before resetting anything, check that the Journal records all three ending entries.
Which answers lead to Guilt, Obsession or Goodbye?
The official page gives thematic hints, not a verified list of dialogue buttons. Guilt revolves around denying familiarity with Tori and questioning lost memories. Obsession centers on intense attachment. Goodbye means facing a friendship or relationship as a whole, including its unpleasant parts. In an October 2 postmortem, the developer called Goodbye the true ending. These are useful signposts when choosing replies, but they cannot replace a tested step-by-step branch map.
Story spoiler: why an old zip file matters
The creator confirms that Tori has died and describes the title as a metaphor for people or things no longer active in our lives. The endings explore grief, longing and acceptance. That makes kiki.zip more than a completionist checkbox: a file you unlock only after revisiting three ways of remembering someone. The computer may be obsolete; the feelings have excellent backward compatibility.
Bottom line: Collect Guilt, Obsession and Goodbye, then find Kiki in the login-screen Journal for your unique zip key. Use the 13-character, no-spaces, last-note clues for Tori’s password. Exact dialogue choices and the password string still need direct play verification.
