Full spoilers. The MuZeum has nine numbered endings, but the outcome is decided well before the final scene. Keep or hand over the bat, control the Curator’s remaining ammunition, and track his esteem. Ending 8 needs at least six correct quiz answers out of eight and two esteem points.

Sophie conflict, Curator esteem and quizzes
Two early lines—Didn’t you say that this route was clear? and Yeah, it seemed too dangerous to go in at the time.—each add one Sophie conflict point. At two points, her response changes. For Curator esteem, What is that creature?, No, not at all. I love learning about tidbits like this!, Flee → Grab curator’s hand, and Oh, really? How do I know if I have that muscle? each grant +1. Who are you? costs one point; thanking him in the entrance hall is neutral.
Troubleshooting Ending 8
Ending 8 not appearing? The Convince me. option is gated behind both ≥6/8 quiz answers and ≥2 esteem. Escape the tour zombie fight by grabbing the Curator’s hand, then agree with his view of humanity. Choose Brain #Error404 twice. A player who was stuck on this ending confirmed the developer’s advice worked.
Ending 5 variants and the ammo split
Ending 5 has three narrative variations, not three extra numbered endings. For Endings 6 versus 7, giving Sophie the bat is shared; the differentiator is whether the Curator finishes the tour with ammunition. Fighting or grabbing his hand preserves bullets. Running ahead forces him to expend them.
Version and verification limits
The developer’s route guide dates to October 8, 2025. The game page was updated October 9, 2026 and lists downloadable v1.4.0 (July 1, 2026); an HTML5 build is also offered. Compatibility of every route with the newest build and the web build version were not directly tested. No firsthand playthrough is claimed. Ending 9 overlaps with Ending 8 at the worldview choice; the priority of those branches is not documented.
Conclusion
For efficient completion, save before handing over the bat, before the zombie encounter, and before the worldview conversation. Build quiz and esteem scores from the start for Ending 8.
