The studio's own film page says “In theaters June 18, 2027.” In an interview published March 11, 2026, Lord and Miller expressed strong confidence that the movie would arrive on schedule. Those are stronger signals than an unsourced social post, although neither can predict every future production or distribution decision.[1][2]
Sony's synopsis has Miles pursued by Miguel O'Hara's Spider Society while he tries to find his way home and protect his family. The appeal of the release date is therefore more than seeing new animation: viewers want the interrupted story to reach its conclusion.[1]
Bottom line: what should you watch next?
June 18, 2027 remains the studio-listed date, with the producers publicly backing it. Check Sony Pictures Animation and your country's distributor for an actual change rather than treating every rumor as a new delay. Miles is meant to travel between universes; his audience would prefer its cinema plans to stay in just one.
