Description: Every documented bad and normal ending, three exact pedestal combinations, and the Oblong–Grolb–Plurb true-ending path, with the Steam edition clearly separated.

The edition matters more than the ending counter. Mimeface's original itch.io guide documents five bad endings, three normal endings and one true ending. Steam, released on November 23, 2025, advertises eleven endings and extra scenes. This guide gives reproducible developer-published steps for the original nine and does not invent the two Steam additions.

The three pedestal solutions

Orange grave: SAFETY 8, COMFORTABILITY 16, EMPATHY 21, from left to right. Purple grave: ABSCENCE 10, GUIDANCE 18, TEMPERANCE 23. Green grave: ISOLATION 6, CHANCE 14, FREEDOM 19. Match the ages engraved on the wooden heads to these pedestals. The first two puzzles are part of the main route; the green grave belongs to the extended true-ending journey. Source · True route.

True-ending route: three companions, three memories

  1. At ROAD 1, find the side path and unusual lamppost. Pick up WORN PAPER on its right and inspect it in STUFF.
  2. At ROAD 2, recruit OBLONG beneath the large orange tree. At ROAD 4, cut the green bush beside the blocking roots to reach GROLB. At ROAD 5, find PLURB under the purple tree. If you abandon Oblong, the other two refuse to join.
  3. Solve the orange grave with 8–16–21. Read the fourth pedestal beyond the bridge: its clue is 'listen'. Speak to OBLONG in your pocket, choose NAP, and place the MEMORY WISP on the pedestal. Ask Er for the truth.
  4. In Er's memories, talk to each figure, fill the three missing words on the pedestals, and repeat across the scenes. Inspect the blood-marked bush at the end.
  5. Solve the purple grave with 10–18–23. The extra pedestal says 'assure'. Speak to PLURB, choose NAP, place the MEMORY WISP, then ASK THE TRUTH from Ous. Restore the missing words and inspect the hand emerging from a bush.
  6. Solve the green grave with 6–14–19. Talk to Hum, leave the room, inspect the broken pedestal on the right, and obtain GROLB's MEMORY WISP by choosing NAP. Because the pedestal is broken, take it to Hum.
  7. Complete Hum's word-restoration scenes, meet your companions in the forest, ask Hum every available question, and return to the outer FLIPSIDE. The published true guide stops after describing this confrontation rather than specifying every final line.

Why the Steam count is eleven

The November 4, 2023 itch.io patch added CGs and repaired routes; a November 14 fix restricted Ous's alternative dialogue after learning Er's truth. The Steam edition launched November 23, 2025 and explicitly lists eleven endings. Mimeface also mentioned refined dialogue, additional sub-endings and a secret teaser for collecting certain items. The two extra ending names and triggers are not established by the original walkthrough. itch.io patch · later fix · creator's Steam announcement · Steam store.

Common traps and verification

The town-name prompt accepts Aulston as the correct answer, but the developer says it changes reactions rather than the ending. Save before entering Er's and Ous's rooms. For the true route, secure all three globs before sitting on the bench. The guide spells the purple pedestal ABSCENCE; preserve that in-game spelling rather than silently correcting it to 'absence'. Official base walkthrough.

Checked developer walkthroughs, patch posts and the Steam store on October 21, 2026. No game executable was played; individual word-puzzle answers, Steam-only branches and full CG unlocks remain unverified.

Conclusion

For the itch.io build, the eight bad/normal outcomes are determined around Er, Ous and Hum; the true route adds three companions and three sets of memories. For Steam's eleven endings, keep the two extra outcomes separate until their exact triggers can be reproduced.
