Enter the arena, move with WASD and shoot with the arrow keys while collecting coins, pulling the lever, surviving enemy waves and defeating the boss; then use the exit when it opens. Those are the objectives stated by the developer. They must fit into a 20-second run. The exact map layout and a guaranteed boss-kill route have not been independently verified.

Play link and controls

Play the free browser version by sad-dragons. It was published on itch.io on October 23, 2026 at 12:46 UTC and updated at 16:12 UTC. It is an entry in 20 Second Game Jam 2026, with Windows and Linux downloads also offered.

  • Move: W, A, S, D. Navigate toward objectives and away from traps.
  • Shoot: Arrow keys. Shooting uses different keys from movement.
  • Confirm: Enter or Space, including selecting Play.
  • Return to title: The developer says to wait for the music to finish; no separate instant-return key is documented.

From Play to the exit

  1. Press Play and enter the arena. Put your hands on WASD and the arrow keys before starting, because the timer allows very little hesitation.
  2. Collect coins and pull the lever. Both appear in the developer's objective list. The exact position of each coin and the lever's interaction trigger are not documented on the public page, so follow the in-game cues.
  3. Survive the waves. Move away from traps and incoming enemies with WASD while shooting in the needed direction using the arrow keys. Moving and firing have separate controls.
  4. Defeat the boss. This is an explicitly listed objective, but the boss's health, spawn timing and required number of hits have not been verified. Do not assume an invented one-shot trick.
  5. Use the exit once it opens. The developer explicitly says to use the open exit. Beating the boss should not be mistaken for an automatically confirmed finish; actually reach the exit.

Quick action table

Situation Action Outcome and evidence
Start screen Select Play; confirm with Enter/Space Enter the arena; developer instructions
Coins available Approach with WASD and collect Progress toward a listed objective; precise pickup trigger unverified
Lever visible Activate the lever Listed objective; interaction detail unverified
Enemy waves and traps Dodge with WASD, fire with arrow keys Survival tactic based on documented controls
Boss appears Shoot while avoiding danger Boss defeat is a listed objective; exact hit count unknown
Exit opens Move to it and use it Developer's stated escape step
Want another attempt Wait until the music ends Developer's documented return-to-title method

All actions above are sourced from the official game page; tactical suggestions are not guaranteed routes.

Common sticking points

Can't shoot? Use the arrow keys rather than WASD. Killed the boss but nothing ended? Look for the open exit and head there. Always run out of time? Keep the stated coin, lever, survival, boss and exit goals in mind instead of exploring traps. The precise objective dependencies and shortest path still require hands-on testing.

Browser versus download

According to the developer, the browser build has reduced spectrum visualizers, glow and pulse effects, adaptive audio playback and 2D HDR. The Windows/Linux download is recommended for full presentation. No rule or boss-difficulty differences have been confirmed.

Bottom line

Get in, collect coins and pull the lever, survive and defeat the boss, then get out through the open exit. Twenty seconds would be generous if the game did not also expect you to fight a boss on the way.
