Description: Learn Cat Catch's controls, 10-point fish, 30-point goldfish, trash hazards, three hearts and exact round-ending rules.

Move the kitten sideways, catch fish, favor goldfish when safe, and dodge trash. Regular fish award 10 points and goldfish award 30. Missing fish has no score penalty, so let dangerous catches go.

Walkthrough from start to finish

  1. Open the official free browser game and select Run game. Developer batistutaluke released v0.2 on October 24, 2026; the interface is in Simplified Chinese.
  2. On PC use left/right arrows or A/D. Holding and dragging across the game also moves the kitten. On phones, drag or hold the on-screen left/right buttons.
  3. Catch ordinary fish for 10 points. Goldfish pay 30, so prefer them when both paths are equally safe.
  4. Avoid trash. Each collision costs one heart, and losing all three ends the round early. A missed fish costs nothing.
  5. When 60 seconds pass, or all hearts are lost, the game calculates your score. Play again to beat your record.

What to do in each situation

Situation Action Outcome and evidence
Regular fish Move beneath it +10 points, developer's description
Goldfish Catch when safe +30 points, developer's description
Missed fish Prepare for the next No penalty, developer's description
Falling trash Move out of its path Lose one heart; three lost hearts end the round
Need a pause Press Esc Pause/resume; switching windows pauses automatically
Timer ends Check the result Round scored after 60 seconds

Should you chase every goldfish?

One goldfish equals three regular fish. Four regular fish plus two goldfish make 4×10+2×30=100 points. But a collision with trash can shorten your scoring time. Preserving hearts matters more than chasing a risky catch. Skipping unsafe fish is advice derived from the rules, not a tested perfect-score route.

Frequently asked questions

How do you win? The developer describes a 60-second high-score challenge, not a fixed score threshold for victory.

Does missing fish remove hearts? No. Trash collisions remove hearts.

Does the record sync? No. It is stored in the current browser, not across devices. Restricted storage does not prevent playing.

Why no sound? Effects are muted by default; turn them on with the upper-right button.

Conclusion and source

Catch 30-point goldfish when the lane is clear, take 10-point fish between them, and stay away from trash. Knowing when to skip a fish is part of scoring well.

Source: Official Cat Catch page, v0.2, published October 24, 2026. Controls and scoring confirmed from the developer's description; complete hands-on play, spawn order, collision boxes and maximum score remain untested.
