Sakadung Apple is a short animated web series in which green apples have human faces, sing a catchy nonsense tune and then set off a creature outbreak. The apples drop from trees; some survive; humans end up transformed into apple-headed things with spider-like legs. That is why a clip that seems like a throwaway fruit joke can suddenly look like a horror chase.

Where did this come from?

The creator is Veynor, who made the series using Source Filmmaker, a tool for creating animated scenes. Know Your Meme identifies July 31, 2026, as the date the first episode appeared on YouTube and TikTok. The opening image is wonderfully simple: faces on apples, a repeated chant, and fruit spinning on branches.

The movement is not random decoration. An apple falls, then the fallen fruit becomes part of the outbreak. Survivors spread the transformation to people. The story escalates from a musical gag to humans fleeing long-legged creatures. The joke makes a promise of harmless nonsense, then breaks it with a miniature monster movie.

How did it catch on?

Veynor posted a season-one compilation on August 17, 2026. Know Your Meme recorded more than 11.6 million views for the original YouTube episode within about three weeks, while also tracking the first compilation on YouTube and TikTok. Those are historical figures for specific uploads, not a measure of present-day worldwide reach.

The series drew attention through short clips, reposts and reactions. Its repeating song makes a scene recognizable in seconds, and its visual plot works even if you have never heard of the series before. It shares the episodic, increasingly bizarre energy of some other internet animation, though the characters and story belong to Veynor's own series.

What should you watch for?

Look for the sequence: singing tree, falling apples, surviving fruit, changed humans, pursuit. The details turn a sound meme into an ongoing story. People can enjoy a single absurd clip or watch episodes in order to understand why the creatures keep appearing. A harmless apple song is a pretty effective disguise for an invasion; the fruit bowl has become the villain's headquarters.
