description: Identify the dancer under red lights, the Benny Benassi song, the May 2026 TikTok clip and the AI dance remakes circulating in October.

Cheba Man is the creator associated with a viral clip of an exuberant arm-heavy dance on a small outdoor stage glowing red. The original performance circulated in May 2026. In October, AI-made versions put other dancers, and even a cat, into a similar scene. The result looks like an early-2000s club night has acquired a 2026 video editor.

The dancer and the style

The account to look for is @cheba_man on TikTok. A public Telegram channel under the same handle displays the name “САША ЧЕБА.” His sweeping, crossing arm movements resemble Tecktonik, also called electro dance, a style associated with club nights near Paris in the 2000s. The style has a much longer history than this particular viral clip.

When was the original posted, and what is the music?

Jump on the Trend identifies a May 24, 2026 TikTok upload as the red-stage reference. Look for the striped shirt, dark sunglasses, strings of bulbs overhead and an audience holding up phones. The music is Benny Benassi's “Love Is Gonna Save Us,” a track associated with the 2003 album Hypnotica. The same tracker documents a May 30 repost by Spinnin' Records highlighting the revival of Tecktonik.

The tracker recorded roughly 17 million plays and 1.9 million likes on the original as of October 21. These are reported snapshots of one upload, not independently audited live totals or a count of the entire trend.

What changed in October?

An AI cat version was posted in June. In early October, other creators began rebuilding the red-lit party scene with different people performing the same routine. One October 9 example from @bgk0065 had around 500,000 reported plays by October 21. The creator also continued posting his own performances, including clips associated with Paris in mid-October. These are three different things: a real performance, AI substitutions and older Tecktonik footage.

Why does the joke work?

The dancer commits completely while the audience films and the camera captures the whole spectacle from below. AI remakes preserve that extraordinary confidence but swap out the star. Search “Cheba Man” for the creator, “Love Is Gonna Save Us” for the music and “Tecktonik party AI” for the edits. For your own remake, obtain permission for any identifiable face and check AI-labeling and music rights.

Conclusion

The red-stage dance is a real 2026 clip drawing on a French club style from two decades earlier. The October AI wave is a remix, not the original. The arms travelled back to 2007; the cameras and software stayed firmly in 2026.
