By chapter 55, the Demon King is not the only thing that needs supervision

Genji begins his reincarnation with a request so specific that it seems to explain the entire joke. It does not. The premise is merely the warning label.

Spoilers through roughly chapter 55 of the Kakuyomu version of Tanetsuke Ojisan no Isekai Press Manyuuki. The series is complete at 518 chapters. The current Kakuyomu page labels it Kakuyomu-only, so this article uses that version as its canonical reference.

1. “Make me a mobile fat version of the breeding uncle” is only the user manual cover

Genji begins his reincarnation with a request so specific that it seems to explain the entire joke. It does not. The premise is merely the warning label.

He is absurdly strong, surprisingly principled, protective of weaker people, and willing to confront abuse head-on. Meanwhile, the names of his skills, summons and solutions keep escaping from any recognizable fantasy naming convention. His morality is heroic; his UI looks as if someone left an adult parody mod enabled.

That contrast is the engine. A scene can sincerely be about courage, dignity or protecting someone, then the solution arrives with a name that makes the reader re-check the screen.

2. Genji’s “form” is not peak attractiveness. It is peak presence

The joke works better because reincarnation did not simply turn him into a universally handsome harem protagonist. In chapter 11, a dark elf effectively reads him as an orc. Genji, naturally, is surprised that anyone could reach this conclusion.

His appeal therefore has to be built through behavior: strength, consistency, generosity, confidence and a bizarre kind of emotional reliability. Visually, early Genji has less “prince charming” energy and more “landlord who can repair the boiler, carry the boiler and possibly defeat the boiler in single combat.”

That makes later affection funnier and more narratively convincing. He is not a passive attractiveness cheat. He is an acquired taste with boss statistics.

3. Stop spawning live “kukkoro” situations; ordinary adventurers only get one life

The early arc repeatedly brushes against the kind of warrior-woman, elf and knight crises that invite the classic “kill me rather than disgrace me” fantasy trope. From the reader’s chair, it can feel like attending a live exhibition of genre clichés.

For the characters, however, these are actual violent situations. A normal adventurer would run out of save files.

Genji’s power changes the suspense. The question becomes less “Can he survive?” and more “What deranged mechanism will solve this one?” The danger stays real enough to matter, while the method of resolution keeps turning the situation into comedy.

4. 《F-type MM-go》, 《Tenga》, 《Shojochu》: the equipment menu belongs to three different games

Chapter 15 introduces 《F-type MM-go》 as a venue for negotiations. This is a fantasy diplomatic meeting, and Genji produces a mirrored carriage with a name that sounds imported from an entirely different genre. It arrives in chapter 15. The story wastes no time.

Then there is the divine weapon 《Tenga》, which sounds perfectly at home in a heroic fantasy. And there is the summoned creature 《Shojochu》, a name that makes the reader inspect the label twice and later develops its own running character gag.

The naming system is not broken. Several incompatible naming systems are fighting in the same office.

5. Pinoko looks like the mascot. Organizationally, she is the chaperone

The goddess Nike is reduced to a small, chubby chick called Pinoko and sent with Genji. Visually, she is the mascot and straight man. Administratively, she is also his assigned watcher.

This is one of the best visual contradictions in the setup. The apparent protected party is the tiny chick. The org chart says the chick is supervising the enormous superhuman man.

By chapters 53–55, that staffing decision starts to look less ridiculous. Heaven’s strongest figures need tailored countermeasures for Genji, and the council must think about him as a strategic risk. “Why is the chick monitoring him?” quietly becomes “Why is one chick the entire compliance department?”

6. Chapter 53 unlocks 《Imaginary Pregnancy》. The meme writes itself

Chapter 53, “Beyond Imagination,” contains the acquisition of the Extra Skill 《Imaginary Pregnancy》.

The surrounding fight is structurally serious: the heavenly side has studied Genji, identified a weakness and built a countermeasure specifically to suppress him. This is classic overpowered-protagonist counterplay.

Then his breakthrough is called 《Imaginary Pregnancy》.

Calling it “Domain Expansion: Imaginary Pregnancy” is not canonical; that is reader-side vandalism. The problem is that the unofficial joke barely feels more excessive than the official skill name. The series has already moved the goalposts.

7. Chapter 55 asks Genji to defeat the Demon King. The council’s harder problem is what happens afterward

Chapter 55 gives Genji a seemingly traditional mission: defeat a Demon King powerful enough to rival heaven’s strongest goddess.

But the political logic immediately becomes more interesting. If Genji can defeat that threat, then Genji himself becomes a being with Demon-King-plus potential. Removing one strategic threat may simply leave a harder-to-govern one standing in its place.

From a reader perspective: “He can probably beat the Demon King.” From a council perspective: “Great. And who audits the man who just beat the Demon King?”

This is why the monitoring stops feeling arbitrary. Genji is benevolent, but he is powerful, autonomous and governed primarily by his own moral code and extremely specific tastes. Any celestial risk committee would develop a headache.

8. The real comedy is a world whose systems cannot keep up with one man

Through chapter 55, the series is more than an overpowered-protagonist joke. Genji repeatedly forces institutions, enemies and allies to process something their categories were not built to contain.

The recurring rhythm is almost procedural:

  1. The world defines a normal fantasy problem.
  2. Genji says he understands.
  3. The reader briefly expects a normal answer.
  4. Genji deploys 《F-type MM-go》, 《Shojochu》 or 《Imaginary Pregnancy》.
  5. The world objects.
  6. Reality sides with Genji.

So the provisional conclusion is simple: defeating the Demon King may be easier than designing governance for Genji. Pinoko being his watcher is both unfair to Pinoko and, increasingly, completely reasonable. One chick should not be the whole compliance team.

Reference scope: the official Kakuyomu synopsis and selected chapters including 1, 11, 15, 53 and 55. Phrases such as “live kukkoro,” “Domain Expansion: Imaginary Pregnancy,” and “one-chick compliance department” are commentary, not canonical terminology.
