What is this app?
MemoryGhost (Kiraan) is an AI photo editor that overlays a soft, semi-transparent subject — a plushie, a friend, a pet — onto a photo of the present scene to create a 'memory ghost' image.
Common situations to use it
- Plushie left at home or on a train
Drop the plushie back into the trip photo as a fun call-and-response post.
- Friends or family far away
Overlay them onto your current photo as a soft message image.
- Idol summoning
Pilgrimages and concert nights — softly summon the artist into a fan post.
- Memorial photos
A pet that passed, gently placed back into a current scene. Used as personal memorial work.
- Social media bits
'They would have loved being here' / 'still living rent-free in my memory' style posts.
How to use (3 steps)
- 1 Pick a background
Choose today's scene photo from your album.
- 2 Pick the subject to overlay
Pick the plushie, friend, or pet photo. AI overlays it as a soft ghost.
- 3 Tune position and opacity, save
Adjust where it sits and how strong it shows, then save and share.
Good for people who
- Fans making emotional fan posts
- Travelers who keep forgetting their plushie
- Anyone sending an 'I miss you' image to far-away friends or family
- Pet memorial work
- Soft / emo style social posts
Not for people who
- Pro retouch workflows (this is intentionally soft, not surgical)
- Strict commercial-clean asset pipelines
- People who dislike AI-edited photos in principle

- Is it OK to use photos of someone who passed?
- Personal memorial use is common. Please do not publish others' deceased relatives without their family's consent.

- Is it free?
- Core features are free. Ads are shown.
- Did the brand change?
- App nickname is 'Kiraan' in JA, 'MemoryGhost' in EN. Old /kiraan URLs redirect automatically.
A note from the developer
This started after I left my plushie on the bullet train. I wanted a 'they were here even if they weren't' image that felt a little kinder than a meme cutout. Use it as soft emotional punctuation, not a heavy filter.
